The Beginning....

Well, I guess I start this thing now... after having this blog since November 2011ish. I am new to this so please bare with me as I develop my style of blogging as it may end up sounding like a bunch of rambling going about. Well first off, this is Jason Tilby, and I am from College Station, Texas nestled 2 hours from Austin, Houston, and 3 hours from Dallas. We are right in the center of the area if you were to draw a triangle between all of those points.  We are a steadily growing town of about 90,000 residents but we have a sister-city, Bryan, that directly connects to us with a populous of about 75,000 residents. Collectively we comprise the 15th largest metropolitan area in Texas. We are home to the Fightin' Texas Aggies of Texas A&M University, one of the newest members of the Southeast Conference (SEC), and my wife, Dawn, is a proud graduate of this university, class of 2004!  We are both A&M Consolidated HS graduates, right here in College Station in 2000 so we are very familiar with the area. I have a total of 3 siblings, Chad, Brooke, and Garrett. They are 27, 23, and 8 years of age, respectively. I am the oldest at 30 years old. My wife Dawn is also 30 and she is an only child. She grew up in Knoxville, TN but was born in Houston. She moved to College Station in 1998 during high school when her father was transferred to run a local radio station. My parents are Steve Tilby and Patsy Garza and my stepfather is Tony Garza. Dawn's parents are Nanci Melton-Gish and Clay Gish. Now that some background has been established, Dawn and I are starting this blog as a general information, insights to our cooking, real estate news, etc. Dawn and I are co-owners of Team Tilby of Keller Williams Realty B/V. We are a full service real estate team in Bryan and College Station and we service these towns and the surrounding areas. That is all for now so here the blog goes...
